Josiah Katumu

Josiah Katumu was born and raised in a small village in Eastern Kenya. The son of a Presbyterian minister, he moved with his family to Nairobi when he was twelve. Josiah’s grandfather started the first Presbyterian church in Kenya.

After high school, Josiah graduated with a B.A. from Kenyatta University. Shortly thereafter, he came to the United States to study at Reformed Theological Seminary, in Orlando, FL, graduating with an M.Div in 2011. While at RTS, he met his lovely wife Quiana (also a graduate of RTS), marrying in September 2012.

Josiah is pastor of Grace Reformed Presbyterian in Baltimore, MD. Previously he served as associate pastor at Grace, pastor of worship and community life at Treasure Coast Presbyterian (Stuart, Florida) and worship leader at Covenant Presbyterian Church (Oviedo, FL).

Josiah enjoys reading, being around people, watching his favorite soccer team, Chelsea, drinking good coffee, and of course a great cup of Kenyan tea.
